  1. I ran the 2014 NU Hartford 5K last year and got a PR on my 5K time. In 2015, I am stepping up my game and am looking forward to experiencing the course, crowd support and exhilaration of running my best half marathon I can. My goal is to run 1:50:00 half by that time, finish strong with a wave and a smile as I hear the announcer say my name in the stretch!

  5. Hoping to PR with a sub 8:00 min/mile pace -- around a 1:43 half marathon. Missed last year due to an injury so I'm training now to get ready for 2015!

  8. My 2015 NU Hartford goal is the run the Hartford Half and PR! I have never run Hartford before - I missed running it in 2014 with my running buddies because I was on my honeymoon. I did run my first 1/2 in 2014 (Amica Ironhorse) and would love to run Hartford in 2015!

  11. My goal is to finish at least 20 min faster than this year! (1/2)

  12. My goal in 2014 was simply to make sure I finished the Hartford half. I did. For 2015, since I can't control the weather, I will settle for a PR in the half.

  14. I just started running in September and I love it. I have worked in Hartford for years and always love to see the set up of the race in Bushnell Park. I have always dreamed of running the half marathon and I think i will be more than ready to conquer it.

  15. I was at Girls night and was able to meet and talk with all 3 amazing ladies. I especially felt a connection with Colleen and think of her and her amazing Spirit when I want to give up and bag a run. My daughter connected with Molly and is hoping to help with our local Girls on the Run chapter. And Katherine - gracious, and a pleasure and chatted with us both like we were old friends. Such an inspiration. 2014 was my first half and I'm all ready signed up for 2015 looking to PR.

  21. I've run the 5k several times and I've run the half marathon couple of times and did my first full marathon this year with the Hartford marathon foundation hoping to be under 4 hours for 2015

  22. After running the my first marathon in 2014 in Hartford, I so much want to run it again. This time pain-free. I injured my knee less than 3 weeks before the marathon but still managed to finish the race (though I am still paying for it right now as I continue to receive PT for the knee). I would so much love to get a comped registration for the Hartford marathon so I can experience the race as opposed to surviving it.

  28. I ran the 1 mile Friday and the Half and they both were awesome! It was my first half and the 1 mile was the perfect way to shake off the nerves and create a wonderful weekend out of it. Even in the rain =) Can't wait for both in 2015!

  31. I ran the HM this year with a 13 minute PR. I felt so strong at the end, I knew I could have done better. My plan is to return in 2015 with a goal of a sub 4:25:00 finish.

  32. Ran Hartford as my first ever half marathon in 2013 and my first ever full marathon in 2014! Can't wait to be back in 2015 with a PR. Love the atmosphere and the crowd!

  33. I was supposed to run the Hartford marathon in 2014 as my first marathon. I started running 2 years ago when I was 49 years old. I lost 75 lbs and went from not being able to make it a half mile to running multiple half marathons this year. I was excited to run my first full in October but then I came down with mono and was stuck in bed for a month unable to run at all. I am hoping to redeem myself in 2015 and be able to complete my goal of running the Hartford Marathon as my first full marathon.

  38. My goal at the 2015 NU Half Marathon is to go sub-1:45. I ran a PR at the Iron Horse this year (1:48). With hard work throughout the year, I hope to shave those three minutes. Also, my goal is to participate in One Mile Friday - my very first 1 mile race!
